Waste Management Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Waste Management Specialist to join our team at FCC Environment. As a Site Operative, you will be responsible for operating mobile plant to accept and place waste inputs from customers in a timely manner while maintaining high levels of safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery
- Operate site plant as required to deal effectively with waste
- Assist with additional works such as pump checks as requested
- Maximise void utilisation and maintain all site equipment in line with FCC Procedures and Best Practice

Requirements

- Experience working on a waste acceptance site
- Valid qualifications in the operation of heavy plant (e.g. bulldozer, excavator, compactor, articulated dumper, tractor)
- Strong customer service skills
