Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Simpson Booth Limited in Burnley, UK. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of robust systems for inventory control and efficient processing.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP and experience working in similar stock/material control and/or inventory management roles. You will be responsible for maintaining all SKU related master data, sharing and supporting best practice for Warehouse transformation, and reporting opportunities/risk to key stakeholders.
In addition, you will be responsible for demand planning, understanding and becoming an expert on stocking policy and product life cycle management, ensuring inventory exceptions are reviewed routinely, and analysing inventory changes and providing recommendations to achieve stock targets.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong numeracy skills, experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, and Supply Chain Accreditation (APICS) - although not essential.
