Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a skilled teaching assistant to join our team in Islington. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
This is a full-time teaching assistant position, working across primary and secondary age groups. You will be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment, working collaboratively with teachers to develop individualized education plans, and providing support to students with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with complex SEND, including physical and sensory impairments.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to lesson planning and delivery, as needed.
