Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Teaching Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development in partner schools.

About the Role:

  • Deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of students with SEND.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other support staff.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to provide regular updates on student progress.
  • Liaise with external agencies and professionals to support student development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching children or young people with SEND.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND practices and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.

Salary and Benefits:
