Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for medicines management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, and provide expert advice on medicines management.
- Lead the pharmacy team in the implementation of medication safety initiatives, and ensure the effective use of technology to support medicines management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure the pharmacy team is aware of and compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Experience of working in a clinical setting as a Pharmacist.
- Leadership/managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting.
- Awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
- Ability to make decisions and use initiative.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion to deliver excellent care in a rewarding and challenging environment.
