Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Clinical Practitioner to join our team at our Urgent Care/Walk-in Centre. As a Band 7 practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously, using your expertise to assess, manage, and treat patients presenting with acute undifferentiated conditions.

About the Role

You will work collaboratively with Emergency services and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective care, utilising your expert diagnostic skills and clinical reasoning. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience as an independent non-medical prescriber, prescribing medication as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, manage, and treat patients presenting with acute undifferentiated conditions
  • Work collaboratively with Emergency services and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop skills and experience as an independent non-medical prescriber

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree-level qualification in Nursing, Paramedicine, or an Allied Health Profession
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. NMC, HCPC)
  • Experience working in urgent care or emergency services
