Terrorism and Political Violence Underwriting Role

We are seeking a skilled Terrorism and Political Violence Underwriter to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will possess experience in underwriting Terrorism and Political Violence and be able to support the growth of our UKI Terrorism and Political Violence team.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Underwriting existing renewal accounts and solving broker enquiries.
  • Attending renewal meetings, broker training, and business development activities to support the growth of the product line.
  • Working closely with business development managers to assist with broker enquiries and developing new opportunities and relationships.
  • Collaborating with underwriters in other lines of business across the UK&I to maximise cross-sell opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of underwriting Terrorism and Political Violence.
  • Experience or developing experience in business development.
  • Adaptability and resilience to changes in market conditions and business requirements.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build strong relationships quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • ACII preferred but not essential.
