Role OverviewWe are seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support local schools in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide support to students in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities- Support teachers in the classroom with day-to-day activities.
- Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to help them reach their potential.
- Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
- Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Help create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a school setting.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to get one).
- A variety of placements in schools across Newcastle.
