Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to manage complex projects from start to finish. As a Project Delivery Lead in Public Health Research, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement research projects that aim to improve public health outcomes.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive project management to a portfolio of projects, working closely with colleagues in local government to increase the ability of authorities to carry out high-quality public health research.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in project management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Manage project finances, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including programme managers, Centre colleagues, and partners nationally.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting risks and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with research ethics and governance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience of project management and demonstrable ability to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including MS Project, Excel, and Access.

Salary: £45,000 per annum
