Warehouse Stores Person

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Stores Person to join our team at Valeo Foods. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our food manufacturing warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock and raw materials, ensuring accurate recording in our inventory management system.
  • Prepare and pack products for dispatch according to customer orders, adhering to health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and storage areas, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock, utilizing basic computer skills for stock management systems.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks, with training provided if necessary.
  • Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment, with experience in food manufacturing an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving heavy items.
  • Basic computer skills for stock management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • FLT licence.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) 37.5 hours per week.

Shifts: 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm.

Salary: £23,166 per annum.
