We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Stores Person to join our team at Valeo Foods. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our food manufacturing warehouse.

Your responsibilities will include receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming stock and raw materials, preparing and packing products for dispatch, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and working effectively with production and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock and raw materials.
  • Prepare and pack products for dispatch according to customer orders.
  • Ensure stock is accurately recorded in our inventory management system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and storage areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks (training provided if necessary).
  • Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment (experience in food manufacturing is an advantage).
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving heavy items.
  • Basic computer skills for stock management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • FLT licence
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm

Salary: £23,166 per annum
