Quantity Surveyor Graduate Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Express Recruitment. As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shadow senior Quantity Surveyor team members and attend on-site meetings
  • Carry out site measurements, pricing, and valuation duties
  • Provide cost estimates for local and UK-wide projects
  • Assist with contract negotiations and tender writing, including bill of quantities
  • Carry out training to understand cost management and report writing processes
  • Liaise frequently with the supply chain and estimating department
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our company's range of specialist products
  • Carry out additional training necessary to complete the graduate scheme
  • Meet tight project deadlines
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Previous work-related experience in surveying is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills at all senior levels
  • Confident negotiation skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Full, clean, UK driving license
