Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Service Specialist to join our team at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving sales turnover and market share through consumer-focused efforts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the Brand in a credible and professional manner, maximising sales through selling and excellent service, and contributing to efficiencies by adhering to procedures and guidelines.

You will also be responsible for understanding daily and weekly targets, staying up-to-date with additional sales avenues, keeping track of competitor activities and missed opportunities, leveraging social media to drive business and enhance the Brand image, delivering the Brand Strategy and local plan, implementing marketing and events initiatives aligned with Retailer activity, delivering excellence in service execution and improving service levels, representing the Brand and ensuring values are represented, managing refunds and complaints according to Company guidelines, using digital tools to stay knowledgeable, developing a consumer recruitment and retention strategy, and keeping up-to-date knowledge of product to deliver an industry-leading experience.

In terms of operations, you will be responsible for planning to deliver excellent standards at all times, reviewing retail standards daily to ensure they meet required standards, managing deliveries, stock movements, and administration within agreed timeframes, ensuring auditable processes and administration are actioned according to Company guidelines, fulfilling information requests accurately and within deadlines, minimising stock loss by implementing Company Security Policies and Procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for consumers, and ensuring health and safety responsibilities achieve a minimum overall grading of 'Acceptable' during audits.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing daily replenishment and taking corrective action when necessary, utilising commercial reports to make informed decisions, planning and delivering visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines, identifying stock package issues and taking corrective action, managing promotions and discounts according to Company guidelines, and identifying trends and suggesting enhancements to product performance.

This role requires experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment, the ability to drive self-development, commercial understanding and awareness of the industry, effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills, and a salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per annum based on location and experience.
