We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our gym, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, including supervising staff and ensuring that all areas of the gym are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • To assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, ensuring that the gym continues to run smoothly and that customer service standards are maintained.
  • To help lead and deliver the commercial performance of the business, including driving sales and revenue growth.
  • To help lead and deliver the operational excellence of the club, including maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • To deliver set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the overall success of the gym.
  • To recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry, ideally with a background in fitness and wellness.
  • Passionate about customer service and able to inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor and experienced in driving sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and maintain a high-performing team.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
