Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programming

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, including CNC programming and new part introduction, within a dynamic and supportive team.

The successful candidate will have experience in machining and programming complex components, ideally within the automotive or aerospace industry. They will be proficient in Siemens NX CAD/CAM system and Vericut simulation software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce CNC programs for 4 & 5 axis machines and multi-axis turn-mills using Siemens NX & Vericut.
  • Develop CNC grinding programs for a variety of grinding machines.
  • Manage new part introduction (NPI) for prototype and production projects with short lead times.
  • Create and define manufacturing routings and Bill of Materials (BOM) using SAP ERP.
  • Design fixtures and tooling for NPI projects.
  • Assist with departmental training and progression programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in machining and programming complex components, ideally within the automotive or aerospace industry.
  • Proficient in Siemens NX CAD/CAM system and Vericut simulation software.

Salary Range: £50,000 - £56,000 per annum.
