Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Care Services Team Manager to lead our Enablement Support Team.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, responsible for managing and organising effective provision of services through specific projects, specialist advice and guidance, and day-to-day coordination of a team. Improving outcomes by supporting and assisting the well-being of individuals is key.

We're looking for someone who can encourage people to achieve their best in their own homes and communities, while contributing to a new programme that wraps time-limited support around people at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage and coordinate a team of enablement professionals to deliver high-quality support services to individuals and their families.
  • To develop and implement effective project plans, budgets, and risk management strategies to ensure successful delivery of services.
  • To build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including multi-disciplinary professional teams in localities across Derbyshire.
  • To promote a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and respect within the team and with external partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team in a similar context.
  • A strong understanding of care principles, practices, and policies, with knowledge of current legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, service users, and external partners.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
