About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Culinary Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that cater to their individual needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be to create menus that showcase your culinary skills and passion for food. You will work closely with our residents, carers, and other kitchen staff to ensure that every meal is a delightful experience.
You will also be responsible for:
- Cooking and preparing meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment that adheres to health and safety regulations
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals and objectives
- Providing excellent customer service to our residents and their families
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local suppliers to source fresh ingredients
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- City & Guilds 706 1&2 qualification or equivalent
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Head chef or Head Cook experience in a similar environment
- Supervisory or Line Management experience
- A caring nature and ability to work effectively with vulnerable adults
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances

Estimated Salary: £24,900 - £30,480 per annum based on 38 hours per week
