About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cook to join our Akari Care team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities

As a Cook at Akari Care, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and cooking nutritious and delicious meals for our residents
  • Creating menus that cater to individual tastes and dietary needs
  • Working closely with our care team to ensure seamless delivery of meal services
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Leading and motivating a team to achieve our culinary goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A City & Guilds 706 1&2 qualification or equivalent
  • A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Experience as a Head Chef or Cook in a similar environment
  • Supervisory or line management experience
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
