About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our client's award-winning Hotel Restaurant and Bar team in Hereford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in serving fresh food to guests in the fine dining restaurant, bar, and functions/celebrations.
  • Work as part of a dedicated brigade to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Contribute to menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation methods.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
