Functional Assessor Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional Assessor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing the functional capacity of individuals and providing accurate and unbiased reports to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and objective assessments of individuals to determine their functional capacity and identify any limitations or restrictions.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive reports of assessments, including observations, findings, and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that assessments are conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to functional assessment and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that assessments are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
- Minimum one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
- Full registration with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with no restrictions and a valid PIN.
- Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper.
- Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and generate accurate reports.
- Proficient with IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access.
- Valid driving license or reliable transportation to reach the nearest assessment centre.
- Full-time role: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
- Flexible hours can be arranged with your line manager after initial training, considering both personal preferences and business needs.
- Work hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid one-hour lunch break.
- Sample schedules include: 8am – 4:30pm or 9am – 5:30pm.
- We will provide at least 4 weeks' notice for any changes to your schedule.
