About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As a specialist in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), you will be responsible for providing tailored care and guidance to students with ASD, including those who are non-verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • liProvide one-on-one and small group support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including non-verbal children.
  • Foster social, emotional, and academic development by creating a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a variety of settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASD, and hold relevant qualifications or training in SEN. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is also required.
