SENDhelp Limited is seeking an experienced SEN Primary Teacher to support students with sensory and special educational needs in our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) Unit.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teaching assistants and HLTAs to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for Years 4-6 students with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and sensory challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with sensory needs using visual aids, phonics, and Makaton.
  • Work with students with ASD, SpLD, challenging behaviours, and complex needs, including those recovering from strokes.
  • Use Zones of Regulation strategies to help students manage emotions and behaviours.
  • Lead Annual Reviews and work closely with professionals to implement EHCPs and ongoing support plans.
