">Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cost Consultant to join our London and South East region. The successful candidate will have Higher Education sector experience and be able to help deliver on our continued growth plans for the region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, advising on procurement strategies, and contract selection. They will also manage, estimate, and cost plan activities, including presenting the final cost plan. Additionally, they will ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed upon.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent along with previous experience in a cost consultancy practice in a similar role.
  • Cost planning, budgeting, and estimating experience and have sound knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on Contract Administration.
  • Construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.

We are also open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
