About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consumer PR Account Manager to join our team at McCann Birmingham. As a key member of our PR & Social team, you will be responsible for delivering sector-leading work across tourism, hospitality, and home and lifestyle sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing sound consultancy and strategic guidance.
  • Drive accounts, campaigns, and PR programs forward, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Create top-quality PR content, including press releases, media kits, and other materials.
  • Lead on media relations, regular sell-ins with key media, and securing coverage in top-tier publications.
  • Provide briefs for other departments and external service providers, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.
  • Manage account teams, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with directors to ensure work is on time, of high quality, and meets client expectations.
  • Engage with other specialist teams across the agency, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Measure impact and report results, providing actionable insights to inform future strategies.
Requirements
  • Established experience in consumer PR, ideally within tourism, hospitality, home, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the evolving media landscape and ability to adapt to changing trends.
  • Confident communicator with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Good time management and basic knowledge of digital and social media channels.
