Michael Page is partnering with a highly successful international FMCG brand that is expanding in the UK. The company seeks a strategic-thinking Financial Manager to lead the overall financial management of its UK operations, collaborating closely with the Paris HQ.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and financial acumen, with the ability to manage both day-to-day accounting and long-term financial planning. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing Financial Strategies: Design and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives, providing strategic recommendations to the Managing Director and senior management team on financial analysis and projections.
  2. Leading Financial Planning: Oversee the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
  3. Managing Financial Teams: Supervise the finance and accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, while maintaining robust financial processes and internal controls.
  4. Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, operations, HR, and marketing departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

The role requires ACA, ACCA, CIMA accountancy qualifications or equivalent experience. Strong Excel and accounting systems experience are essential, as well as some travel to locations in London. The salary for this position is approximately £60,000, with performance-based bonuses and a benefits package included.
