The Gynaecology Assessment Unit provides a comprehensive service 7 days a week, catering to patients referred via A&E, midwifery teams, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. The unit offers care for all Gynaecology conditions, and we are looking for a nurse who can contribute to this vital service.

This is an internal application post, and Gynaecology Ward and Emergency Gynaecology experience are essential for all applicants. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and triaging patients, delivering timely care, and ensuring clear communication with the multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and triage patients with Gynaecology conditions
  • Deliver timely and effective care to patients
  • Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to the development of the Gynaecology Assessment Unit
Requirements
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • First-level registration - RGN Adult
  • Experience in Gynaecology Ward and Emergency Gynaecology
Working Arrangements

This is a permanent position at 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a full-time schedule, with flexibility to adapt to the needs of the service.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, pro rata. The successful candidate will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities.
