About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Support Specialist to join our team at a Barchester care home in Truro. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all areas of the care home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, communal spaces, and outdoor areas;
  • Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing;
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed;
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the management team;
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the housekeeping team to achieve shared goals and objectives;
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment.
