About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FPGA Verification Engineer to join our Firmware Engineering team within the Communication Systems Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing verification methodologies for FPGA firmware, ensuring the highest quality and security standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth analysis of system and firmware level requirements to identify and filter out poor or unverifiable requirements.
  • Implement test procedures for FPGA firmware that adhere to project requirements and firmware group library policies for reuse, project development standards, and security aspects.
  • Ensure test procedures and processes are compatible with project and firmware groups' continuous integration systems.
  • Undertake integration activities with software and hardware, requiring developing knowledge of both transversal domains.
  • Propose improvements in tools, processes, and techniques that support quality and innovation, making firmware development more efficient and effective.
  • Actively contribute to defined aspects of the project to achieve optimal balance between requirements, schedule, and cost.
  • Review technical proposals and assist with providing accurate estimates for associated effort, costs, and risks for bids and proposals, leading to contract awards.
  • Manage security of information as defined in the Security manual to ensure compliance with Government regulations.
Requirements
  • Degree in an engineering, mathematical, or science-based subject or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of FPGA firmware engineering.
