School-Based Occupational Therapist Vacancy

Location:Cardiff

Salary:£24,999.75 per annum (37.5 hours/week, Term-time only)

About Orbis Education & Care:

We are committed to providing exceptional support services to students with SEMH challenges and ASD at Birchwood School in Cardiff.


As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for creating bespoke therapy plans, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and monitoring student progress.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct thorough assessments and develop targeted occupational therapy plans for students with SEMH challenges and ASD.
  • To collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement therapy plans effectively.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to interdisciplinary meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Registration with the HCPC.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
