Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and numerate Senior Merchandise Coordinator to join our team in London. This role will involve optimising inventory levels, predicting demand, and ensuring sales are maximised across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee seasonal forward buys for all brands, from range planning to timely submission.
  • Analyse sales history and forecasts to determine SKU count, collaborating with Sales to align goals and Marketing for product consistency.
  • Manage in-season call-offs where necessary, ensuring sufficient stock for sales and optimal in-season performance.
  • Optimise forward buys using available data and supplier flexibility.
  • Work with Retail Manager to curate product assortments tailored to customer preferences and store needs.
  • Collaborate on monthly drop plans with marketing and retail teams, ensuring store layouts reflect both trends and brand image.
  • Oversee weekly replenishment for all D2C channels.
  • Manage budgets and markdowns to meet sales targets and maximise profitability.
  • Develop and maintain a replenishment plan with Sales and key customers.
  • Review stock levels regularly and collaborate on clearance strategies to optimise inventory.
  • Lead weekly trade meetings and manage trade reporting for D2C channels.
  • Create reports on stock status, upcoming deliveries, and seasonal buys.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, both internally and externally.
  • Build strong relationships with forwarders, brand partners, Customer Services, Commercial, Finance, and Warehouse to improve product flow.
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, able to multitask and prioritise work to ensure tight deadlines are met. You will be highly numerical with proficient knowledge of MS office programs and ERP systems.
