Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Merchandise Operations Coordinator to join our team at Liberty. As a key member of the Merchandising department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our merchandise planning and execution processes.

About the Role:

The Merchandise Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Buying and Merchandising teams, including managing reports and analyzing sales and stock figures. This will involve working closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate data is collected and used to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Merchandisers: Assist the Merchandising team in the management of continuity business, placing orders in line with stock and sales plans.
  • Data Analysis: Run daily and weekly trade reports for Buying and Merchandising, conduct ad-hoc analysis as required, and provide end-of-season sell-thru analysis to inform future purchasing decisions.
  • Operations Support: Assist with markdown and promotion uploads, support the retail and digital teams with stock and intake queries, and action price changes in line with margin plans.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and review product replenishment levels in line with sales and store cover, and use ROS analysis to efficiently forecast forward covers and future customer demand.
  • Communication: Attend floor walks, liaise with Buying, Retail, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure stock is in the right place, and assist in the development and implementation of new business tools.

  • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks by business need and work under pressure.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and report building and manipulation.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including opportunities for career development and professional growth.
