About the Job

The Financial Risk Assessment Manager will play a key role in supporting our ERM team in overseeing, embedding, and enhancing operational risk management, risk culture, and change initiatives. This includes collaborating with business areas to identify and assess potential risks, proposing appropriate remediation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of the operational risk assessment process and reporting to senior management and Board committees.
  • Assist with identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting operational risks in line with the Risk Management Framework & Policies.
  • Cooperate with teams for risk event/incident reporting and engage with the business to assess and report on 'lessons learned' from risk events and action tracking.
  • Engage with risk owners and the business to promote risk management and a strong risk culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with Risk Management theory and suggest practical applications in Ki as relevant.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical problem-solving skills within a fast-paced, agile work environment.
  • Strong computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
