About the Opportunity

Selby Jennings is seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team. This role involves conducting comprehensive credit analyses, evaluating risk, and providing expert recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex Credit Analysis: Conduct in-depth reviews of consumer credit applications, including intricate credit histories, financial statements, and relevant documentation.
  • Risk Evaluation: Assess applicant's financial stability and creditworthiness using sophisticated quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Expert Recommendations: Provide informed guidance on credit approval, modification, or denial, ensuring alignment with established credit policies and risk tolerance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records and documentation of credit assessments and decisions.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with loan officers, senior analysts, and internal stakeholders to refine credit decisions and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Substantial experience in credit analysis, banking, or financial services, with a proven track record of outstanding performance.
  • Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Leadership: Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively in a collaborative environment.

Compensation Package:$90,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
