About the Job:

As a Community Health Worker with Interior Health Authority, you will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who support clients' independence and ability to stay at home.

Our team provides home support services to clients, assisting with personal care and daily living activities while promoting maximum independence.

Community Health Workers play a key role in the home health care plan for each client, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Perform household duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare meals in accordance with designated plans
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Observe and report changes in client behavior and condition
  • Perform delegated tasks according to training and procedures

This is a casual opportunity, meaning hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and evenings, rotating from 07:00 to 23:00 hours.
