We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Maintenance to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our care homes, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
As a Head of Maintenance, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including property maintenance, repairs, and improvements. You will work closely with our General Manager to develop and implement maintenance plans, manage budgets, and oversee the work of our maintenance team. You will also be responsible for liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in property maintenance, who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with our residents, staff, and external partners. You will also have a full UK driving licence and be able to travel to our care homes as required.
