Purchase Ledger Role Overview

CMA Recruitment Group is currently seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating and processing supplier invoices for payment, reviewing purchase orders, and reconciling supplier statements to the purchase ledger.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate and process supplier invoices for payment via the database and manual entry.
  • Review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to the purchase ledger to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Resolve invoice and payment queries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in a previous role as a Purchase Ledger Assistant.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build working relationships internally and externally.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Sage 50.
