Job Description:

The Marston Search team is seeking an experienced Senior IT Governance Specialist to join their client in the West Midlands. This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, reflecting the ideal candidate's expertise in IT audit, risk management, and assurance.

About the Role:

  • Conduct IT internal audits and drafts reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain working papers in accordance with team protocols to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Relay significant client information back to partners and managers to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Take ownership of assignments to deliver results within time and budget constraints.

Requirements:

  • CISA qualification or alternative IT-based qualification from a CCAB or equivalent body.
  • Demonstrable understanding of IT auditor methods and techniques, including experience in controls consultancy and risk management advisory work.
  • Experience in developing IT audit scopes, assurance frameworks, and risk assessments.
