Workshop Lifting Equipment Engineer - East Ham

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Workshop Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team in East Ham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing our fleet of lifting equipment, including hoists and other heavy lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, and maintain lifting equipment in our workshop based in East Ham.
  • Keep accurate records of works undertaken on lifting equipment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and take pride in your work.
  • Adhere to company procedures and maintain high standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and management.
  • Inspect and test lifting equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to deliver a high-quality service.

Requirements:

  • Essential experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as LEEA.
  • Strong knowledge of LOLER & PUWER inspections.
  • Ability to work within a commutable distance of East Ham.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and keen to take on new training opportunities.
