We are seeking a skilled Workshop Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our client's team in East Ham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing a fleet of lifting equipment, including hoists and other heavy lifting gear.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to identify any defects or issues.
- Keep accurate records of works undertaken on lifting equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high standards and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent customer service to deliver a first-class service.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of lifting equipment and its maintenance.
- Relevant qualifications, such as LEEA, are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of LOLER & PUWER inspections and regulations.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain high standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
