Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at St Cuthberts Primary School in Windermere. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and serve meals to students and staff
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Collaborate with the school administration to ensure seamless service delivery


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an education sector setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Flexibility to work term-time only, Monday to Friday
