Job Summary:

Keltbray Infrastructure Services Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Lead Principal Design Engineer to join our team in Preston Brook, Cheshire. As a key member of our Wentworth House Rail Design Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing technical and engineering activities within a specific engineering discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical and engineering activities within a specific engineering discipline.
  • Develop and implement design strategies to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate design activities, including design reviews and approvals.
  • Develop and maintain design procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality management system and industry standards.
  • Manage and coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers and clients.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in rail electrification design and management.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing technical and engineering activities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of rail electrification design and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status within a relevant Engineering Council Approved Body.
  • CDM Regulations 2015 certification.
