Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical and engineering activities within a specific engineering discipline.
- Develop and implement design strategies to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and coordinate design activities, including design reviews and approvals.
- Develop and maintain design procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with company quality management system and industry standards.
- Manage and coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers and clients.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in rail electrification design and management.
- Proven track record of leading and managing technical and engineering activities.
- Strong technical knowledge of rail electrification design and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status within a relevant Engineering Council Approved Body.
- CDM Regulations 2015 certification.
