Mechanical Design Engineer

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Mercury Hampton Ltd. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a crucial role in the development, design, and testing of new engineering solutions for bespoke projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Collaborate with the technical team to develop innovative ideas and designs to solve complex engineering challenges
* Conduct research and development to identify new solutions and improve existing ones
* Work closely with internal sales to provide technical assistance and support
* Take ownership of customer issues, researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting to resolve application issues
* Travel to customer sites to provide on-site support and assistance

**Requirements**

* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
* Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
