Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description

£40,000 - £50,000 basic salary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Runcorn. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative ideas and designs to solve complex engineering problems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the technical team to design and develop new engineering solutions for bespoke projects
  2. Conduct research and development to improve existing designs and processes
  3. Work closely with internal sales to provide technical assistance and support
  4. Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them through research, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
  5. Occasionally travel to customer sites to provide on-site support

Requirements

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
  2. Living commutable to Runcorn
