**Role Overview**

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and experienced SEMH Teacher to join our team at a specialist school in Walsall. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs and a proven track record of delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students with SEMH needs, promoting academic and emotional development.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and external agencies to provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful classroom.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide tailored support and promote positive outcomes.

**Requirements**

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students who have SEMH needs or in a similar setting.
  • A positive, resilient attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for helping students succeed.
