Job Description

Job Title: 1:1 Tutor

Job Type: Temporary

Location: Flexible

Job Description:

We are working with local authorities to support disadvantaged children who are not currently in education. Our mission is to narrow learning gaps and help children achieve their full potential while they await a school placement.

This is an incredibly rewarding role for the right person that will see you support vulnerable young people fulfill their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English, Science, or Secondary)
  • Plan individualized programs of learning
  • Tutor within the home environment
  • Tailor your approach – support children to learn and progress at their own pace

Requirements:

  • Hold a QTS/PGCE certificate
  • Endless enthusiasm and patience
  • Experience working with either secondary or primary pupils
  • Have some experience working with young people with SEN (desirable)
  • Flexible and adaptable to be able to differentiate effectively to provide an inclusive education for all

What We Offer:

  • Between £25 to £30 per hour (PAYE)
