About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to join our team at MTrec Ltd Technical. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating field-based installation and commissioning activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate third-party resources during the installation and commissioning phase to ensure that skill levels match the requirements of the task.
  • Develop and implement commissioning procedures and best practices to streamline the installation and commissioning phase of projects.
  • Prepare RAMS for site-based installation and commissioning activities and ensure compliance with all general and company policies.
  • Support customers in resolving any issues that arise during the installation and commissioning phase of projects.
  • Work closely with the installation and commissioning engineers to ensure that field challenges faced are documented and feedback provided to engineering.
  • Provide technical assistance and system education to customers and support the continuous improvement program.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of PLC software (Siemens preferred but not exclusive).
  • Strong technical skills in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Computer literacy and ability to use a wide range of software.
  • Ability to take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their actions.
