About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead Engineer to join our team in Sunderland. As a key member of our engineering and manufacturing client, you will be responsible for coordinating field-based installation and commissioning activities, developing and implementing commissioning procedures and best practices, and streamlining the I&C phase of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate field-based installation and commissioning activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  2. Develop and implement commissioning procedures and best practices to improve project quality and reduce costs.
  3. Work closely with the I&C Engineers to ensure that field challenges are documented and feedback is provided to engineering.
  4. Assist and coordinate with management to improve I&C lead times and ensure compliance with all general and company policies.
  5. Support customers in resolving any issues that arise through the I&C phase of the projects.
Requirements
  1. Strong technical skills in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  2. Knowledge of PLC software (Siemens but not exclusive).
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  4. Computer literacy and ability to use a wide range of software.
