Senior Mental Health Practitioner

This role is ideal for registered mental health professionals seeking a challenging and rewarding position in a busy community mental health service. As a senior practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adults with severe and enduring mental health needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health policies and procedures, including the Mental Health Act 1983. You will be able to manage a caseload of clients with complex mental health needs, providing risk management and care coordination services.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality care to adults with severe and enduring mental health needs
- Managing a caseload of clients with complex mental health needs
- Providing risk management and care coordination services
- Contributing to the development and implementation of recovery-based approaches
- Working closely with a visible and supportive leadership team
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- A registered mental health qualification (e.g. RMN, SW, OT)
- Current registration with a professional body
- Understanding of mental health policies and procedures
- Experience of risk management and care coordination
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983
