About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Band 6 Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to work with adults with severe and enduring mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement recovery-based approaches.
  • Contribute to the learning and development of junior team members.
  • Take a lead on or contribute to projects identified by the Furness CMHT leadership team.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse Degree, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist.
  • Currently registered with a professional body.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge and practice of the Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Experience of risk management, care co-ordination/managing a caseload of clients with a range of mental health needs.
