Job Title: Rheumatology Consultant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Consultant to join our dynamic team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rheumatology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our Rheumatology services.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialist care to patients with rheumatic diseases
Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
Develop and implement policies and procedures for Rheumatology services
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
Participate in educational activities to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals

Requirements:
Full registration with the General Medical Council
Entry on the GMC specialist register via relevant CCT, MRCP(UK) (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview), relevant CESR or European Community Rights
High level of clinical experience and competence in rheumatology
Excellent communication skills with patients, colleagues, managers, and other staff
Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
